Amanda Divine Luv |
I.S.C.O.S.E.P.A. H.M.I.S.H. Imperial Crown Princess II The Eternal "I DO" Crystal Mountain Princess Co-founder of The Coven of Bitches - BQ4 |
Originally from Vancouver, BC, where she performed at Celebrities, the Heritage House Hotel, the Dufferin Hotel, Numbers, and Denman Station, from 1992 - 1996. She then moved to Edmonton, Alberta, mainly to perform and to be who she is. She resided in Edmonton, Alberta from 1996 - 1999. While in Edmonton she achieved respect and popularity. She traveled to Calgary, Alberta to perform many times, and moved there at the end of 1999. She then moved to Surrey, BC in 1999, back to her hometown. She took 4 years off and returned to the stage in 2005. She again wanted the lights, the fans, the costumes and especially the gorgeous guys to once again to energize her on the stage. Amanda Luv performances range from dynamic Bette Midler to Grace Knight, to Wynonna Judd, to the newest and current artists out today. Her performances are a spotlight to her inner self. Amanda Luv is a kind, outgoing and a friendly person, but when the costumes, makeup and lights go on, Amanda Luv becomes the music and becomes the emotion and has been working the stage in Western Canada for over 14 years. Amanda Luv is now our current Imperial Crown Princess - The "I DO" Crystal Mountain Princess. She also has been elected Secretary of O.I.S. Rainbow Cultural Society (under her male name: Andre Hall). Amanda went on to create the Luv Show, Surrey's regular bi-monthly Female Impersonation Show at the Fireside Cafe December 2006. She then was voted Xtra West Drag Queen of the Year, Summer 2007 for her work in Surrey. All information regarding Amanda and her show can be found at http://www.luvshow.com |

Elektra Quecha |
H.I.S.H. Imperial Crown Princess 3 The Pearl Butterfly Princess Lady of Heavenly Harmony
|
Elektra Quecha took a long time to come to Surrey. About 28 years, to be exact. Like a lot of drag queens, it was Halloween that lead to that first chance to shine as a girl. Performing a song to great acclaim and winning the first of many best costume prizes at the Vancouver Men’s Chorus party lead to more appearances. That was under the name “Jenn Eric”…being the late 70’s with stores introducing the first of the “generic” labels, it seemed the perfect name for a queen ready to shift styles and take on a range of “characters”. More than a decade of drag in Vancouver established a reputation as a solid performer specializing in alternate interpretations of songs that brought comedy and entertainment to those classic songs done on the circuit. A special man came into my life in 1990 and brought a move to Surrey and the quiet life. It was not until he won Mr Gay Surrey 2006 and began to perform that the desire to return to the stage hit me. So, Elektra was born with a unique look and a focus on elegance and flair. Appearances in Surrey lead to the role of Imperial Crown Princess and regular performances at Court events and the Luv Show. Not one to be pigeon holed, it’s hard to predict what kind of song she will perform. It ranges from something with a comedy twist to a ballad with a special message, but always done with style and elegance! |
